Hi,

I am a beginner in learning stata. I have data where I have a column for month in numbers 1 to 12 and a column for year in numbers i.e. 1998 etc. Similarly, I have another column for fixed month i.e. 9 and a column for fixed year i.e. 1994. What I want is to find the difference in months of first month-year pair from second fixed month-year. Any help is much appreciated.
