Dear All, I am estimating a linear expenditure system with Stata nlsur command. I am able to extract the elasticities (using lincom or nlcom). However, I have two sub samples, say rural and urban. I want to compare these sub samples , e.g. null is rural elasticity = urban elasticity. How can I do that in Stata? ( For example, if I use single equation OLS, then I can have estimates save -suest - test suit to compare elasticities (a Wald Test)). I was wondering if something similar is available for such non-linear methods.
Best Regards,
Bodhi
