Hello everyone,
for my thesis i am currently investigating the effects of solid waste (msw_reg) on health on a regional basis. The dependent variable is bicategorical which takes the value 0 (if health is good) and 1 (if health is bad) with the exception of msw_reg and grp_capita every variable is categorical:
Here is an exemplary regression:

(I'm sorry I didn't find a better way to attach the regression, for a better look just right click -> open image in new tab)
My question is, how can I exactly interpret the coefficients of the interaction of province and solid waste on the dependent variable ? To my understanding the coefficient of msw_reg for Yunnan is the base level and the coefficient of emissions in Fujian is lower than Yunnan by -.176 ? So for Fujian the impact of solid waste on health would still be positive as the coefficient of Yunnan (0.23) minus the coefficient of Fujian (-0.17) is still >0 ?
If so, how can I possibly interpret the output of Sichuan which is -.025 ? As it has a higher magnitude with a negative sign it would imply that more solid waste in Sichuan would lead to less negative health outcomes, which is quite counter intuitive... but is it generally correct?
Also, is it possible to make a statement on the general impact of more solid waste (pos or negative) on health through the interactions?
