I am trying to replicate a learning process using Stata following Fernandes et al., (2015) and Schonlau & Zou (2020) the Online News Popularity. I got a bug <'j' invalid name r(198)> when I trying to create loops to identify the proper iterations.
I tried to debug by upgrading to Stata16/using iter(10(50)100) instead of iter('i')/create new variable 'j', unfortunately same error presents. Do you have recommendations for this error? I am not sure where I did wrong. Any advice is appreciated!
