Hi, I need help with the following. The channeling effect is the reduction in the independent variable coefficient.
How to measure the channeling effect and P-Value here and % of total effect channeled? In the first model, the coefficient of IV is 0.00526.
Now for column 1, I can do the following.
Channeling effect= 0.00526-0.00472= 0.00054. To get significance I think I can use suest command. And then to calculate % of total effect channeled = 0.00054/0.00472 =11.44%. I can do this but is there any way to do it using the Stata command. The way I am following now will take longer as I have to do it for each column separately.
