read a do file from one folder and save with replace option to another location

I usually get a hint by looking at the code generated doing something by GUI but when I open a do file and save it to another using GUI I dont see any code generated other than seeing doedit.... but that does not work. So ,what would be the best approach do copy/read a do file from folder A and to save/replace to folder B?
