Dear colleagues,
I got some questions about my statistical analysis on the project measuring about mortality of patients acquired antimicrobial resistance. After multivariate analysis, I got some variables with statistically significant (adjust the bias – could I say that?). I showed ty (bsi vs non-bsi), ic (icu vs non-icu), se (winter season vs non winter season), hd (long hospitalization vs not), hc (hospital acquired infection vs community acquired), so I got such 5 variables with high hazard ratio causing to mortality.
So in the next step, I would like to run a competing risk modelling and predicting modelling. Could you please offer me some tips that I can try a bit?
For competing risk modelling, I am wondering do
Admission – BSI – die or Survival
--Non BSI- die or Survival
For prediciting modelling, i have no idea how to do.
I am looking forward to hearing your comments.
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
