Dear Statalist Members, I am working with CompustatExecucomp merged data. I need to create a dummy variable equals to one if the older CEO (age>56) is replaced by younger CEO (age<56) and zero otherwise. For your kind information, CEO age variable is "age"; CEOs are uniquely identified by "execid'; the firm's are identified by "gvkey" and the fiscal year is "fyear'.
I apologize if my post is not appropriate. I am stuck. Any help will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Ismat Jahan
