Many datasets from the RBI (India's Central Bank) have the time variable given in intervals. They are displayed in formats such as 1960-61, 1970-71, 1980-81 owing to the April-March accounting year. At first instance, STATA recognizes them as string variables. How can I set such time intervals as the time series variable using tsset?
Also can you recommend any YouTube channel which offers a series of time-series lectures using STATA?
