I have a data set with the following variables:
S & P 500 Returns
3-month T-bill returns
10-year T-bond returns
I am still very new to Stata commands. How can I create new variables showing the excess return of S & P 500 returns over both the T-bill and T-bond returns so that I can analyze the mean/standard dev./etc. of the excess?
