I have used the following codes to translate the Chiense characters in my dataset (attached). But it still shows weird characters. How can I resolve this? I tried to search for solutions, but couldn't find one.
///
clear all
unicode analyze cfps2012family_092015compress.dta
unicode encoding set gb18030
unicode retranslate cfps2012family_092015compress.dta, transutf8
