Dear,
I hope you are all in good health. I'm estimating the amount of sorting across schools by estimating student characteristics on teacher evaluations. I am comparing different estimations. First estimate for the entire population and afterwards I want to do the regression for each district. Using the by command for maximum likelihood results in the following error: ml may not be combined with by. I read online that you can add the specification group to the model, but I don't really know how to do this.
Should I best specify a new model to use ML per district? Or is there a more easy way to do so? I will attach a screenshot of my code. (I'm sorry I realize this is not the perfect formatting, but I'm a bit in a time pickle and I think it would take me some time to figure out how to correctly post code)
Array
Thank you for your help!
All the best,
Lilli
