Dear all,
I will start the methodology part of my master thesis soon and would like to get your advice on how to properly run the Panel Data model with respective tests to be performed.
First, I would like to prepare the dataset (manage the outliers and keep only years with all needed variables available).
Then, after building the requested model and running it I have in mind to check for OLS assumptions (endogeneity, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity, and normality tests).
If things are fine I am planning to run the Hausman test to choose between Fixed and Random Effect Models. And start to interpret the results after all.
That's all so far in my mind. Please give me feedback via your thoughts and any remarks/advice. Do I need to check/perform something else or am I already overperforming?
Thanks in advance and take care.
