Hi all,
I am writing a master thesis on the impact of the implementation of financial fair play rules on the financial playing field in national soccer leagues. In order to test this I want to run a regression that tests whether or not revenue/ebitda/profit growth rates are converging/diverging after the implementation of financial fair play rules. I'm having a hard time finding out what regression is the best fit for this particular research. I found a paper called Revenue Convergence in the English Soccer League, here they run a test which i think will help me answer my research question. However, i dont understand how to replicate this approach and reproduce it in stata. Is there someone who can help me reproduce the testing method used in this paper or is there someone who has an other approach that allows me to test for convergence/divergence? I know its a lot to ask but i have been trying for quite some time now i at this point i dont know what else to do.
Thanks in advance
