Hi all,
I would like to decompose the Gini coefficient by income source, applying the Lerman-Yitzhaki decomposition. I know that ineqfac only deals with the Shorrocks decomposition and therefore including only the coefficient of variation and GE(2) (and the same applies for the regression-based method).
I'm also aware of the existence of the command descogini that applies the Lerman-Yitzhaki, but does not allow for sampling weights. Is there a way to apply the decomposition by income source to the Gini coefficient using sampling weights?
Thanks for your support
