I'm currently analyzing macroeconomic panel data using year and country fixed effects. My model looks fine when I run it without using lagged regressors, however, as soon as I test my hypothesis with lagged variables, I have the problem that the F-Test is not specified when using robust standard errors. My gut feelings feeling tells me that the problem might be due to the fact that I ofc loose observations when lagging my variables. Do you agree with this? Getting the F-Statistic with testparm works!
Using panel regression models xtreg re/fe also looks fine, however, I read that using xtreg fe may not be the best option due to omitting between country variation that I want to keep to explain my dependent variable (I haven't really thought this through yet).
Im sorry, tables are pretty long due to country dummies but i wanted to give you the a full overview.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions that could help me!
