Hello, I am doing a panel data analysis with GINI index as the dependent Variable and Remittance as independent variable. If i want to see a short run and long run effect of remittance on income inequality, will it be appropriate to use squared value of remittance for the long run effect and remittance for the short run effect?
Thank you.
