Hello Stata colleagues,
I have some continuous glucose data in participants who completed cross-over experimental trials (i.e. over days) that like to apply Functional data analysis to. I think it would provide useful insight beyond common summary measures (e.g. AUC's, etc)
e.g. https://care.diabetesjournals.org/co...-2212.full.pdf
e.g. http://www.psych.mcgill.ca/misc/fda/
I have been searching around Stata and the forums to see if it is possible to apply Functional data analysis (or whether there are packages available) in Stata. I see a similar question was asked in 2007 with no responses (https://www.stata.com/statalist/arch.../msg00621.html), but I wondered if anyone knew if there had been any progress here? I think there are options in R, but I'd love to be able to apply in Stata which is what I currently use.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Patrick
