For each id of stock, I want to determine which portfolio it falls into, there are 20 portfolios as A to T.
For instance, for stock id 1 it is in 1998 November, its BM is 52.19, 52.19<=56.12, so a new variable called "portfolio" is =A .
If a stock has BM 280 in 1998 November, 280>=276.58 and 280<=347.59, "portfolio' = F for the stock
Can anyone help me with that ???
