Dear Stata uers,
My question is not related to statistics. My native language is not English, therefore something may confuse me. There are many community contributed commands for doing Gini index decomposition, for example, -ginidesc- (Gini index, with within- and between-group inequality decomposition) written by Roger Aliaga y Silvia Montoya, and -descogini- (Gini decomposition by income source) written by @Alejandro Lopez-Feldman. Well, we know that the correct spell is decomposition, why these authors choose abbreviation as desc or desco?
