I am studying people's financial stress. I have a set of 10 items to measure financial stress (1-4 Likert). For example: Being behind on required payments, Having a low credit score, etc. I also have a single questions that What do you feel is the level of your financial stress today? (1-10). Now I want to study what items contribute the most to financial stress. I plan to use a logit order regression with dependent variable is that 1-10 single index and independent variables are the 10 set items. Is this method correct? I am worried about that these 10 items are highly correlated. But when I run the model in Stata, Stata didn't give me any wrong information. It seems my model runs fine.
