Hi all,
I am using South Africa Census 2011 data, and I want to use the derived household annual income data to create a per capita monthly income (for each household in each municipality); so I can compare this to the food poverty line and generate a variable for the proportion of households earning less than FPL level (R488) per capita income (by municipality).
However, the annual household income data is binned, and so I'm not sure how to go about that- could someone help me with STATA code for this?. Additionally, could someone help me with RPME commands for binned income data to calculate Gini coefficients?
Thanks in advance,
Jadene
