Dear Statalister,

I would like to ask why I cannot open data that download as STATA v14+ file.dta from Worldscope in STATA? I use STATA 16.1 and it shows file could not be opened r(603). Does someone know how to open the data?

STATA shows:
save "/Users/tiantian/Downloads//Data/WorldscopeFundamental"
file /Users/tiantian/Downloads//Data/WorldscopeFundamental.dta could not
be opened
r(603);
