Hello,
I have been running into issues with using Stata with shared folders in OneDrive.
With my university, when I share a OneDrive folder with my students, they can't add it to their OneDrive account. This means that the folder I share will not get added to their desktop OneDrive app, and is only available via the OneDrive website. They would then have to download the do-files and data to their computer each time they want to use them and edit them, then re-upload them to OneDrive with their edits.
I want us to all be able to edit the same do files and data-sets, so this does not like good data management practice. Are there any solutions to this issue within OneDrive? Would switching to Dropbox or something else be better? Unfortunately my university department does not have a shared server or drive.
Many thanks,
Alyssa
