Dear Listers:
I am using PdfDocument() in Stata 14.0 to creat a table with contents in Chinese. Although the Chinese characters stored in the vector displays correctly in Stata (please see first the picture), they become garbled in the output .pdf file (please see the second picture). I have read the manual on unicode and on ustrto() but it seems that they do not help.
P.S. I found that this problem also exists when using the Stata command translate .txt file to .pdf file.
Is there any simple solution?
Thanks in advance
