Hi,

I am learning STATA and already acquired some basic knowledge of data processing, transformation, functions, loops etc.
I would like to deepen my knowledge and would be very pleased if you could suggest some resources that helped you learning STATA.
On its website STATA itself provides some really useful resources for learning and I already attended some of the free webinars. I am not looking for specific manuals for lets say regression or survival analysis. Before diving into those special topics (which of course first require to master the theory behind those analyses) I am interested in deepening my general STATA skills. Maybe there are some books or online courses you can recommend?

My second question is more specific:
Is there an easy way to get some additional information out of the duplicates report function like the actual number of unique observations (e.g. observations-surplus) or the sum of the surplus observations? As duplicates report does not allow for any options it seems that the only way to accomplish this is with duplicates tag?

Thank you very much
