Hi all,
I hope youre all well.
Ive got a bit of a funky problem on my hand. I am running parallel Stata instances and i am experiencing some memory issues. Essentially, Stata keeps taking more and more memory until the system runs out ( 64gb!). Strangely enough, if i check with the individual instances, they dont report using much memory at all as you can see in the attached image.
Whatever memory that is, even if i clear everything, Stata does not release the memory. I have messed around with the niceness option and the memory options. They only effect the memory usage that Stata reports and not the amount windows claims Stata uses.
Any ides?
Best,
Jan
