I hope youre all well.
Ive got a bit of a funky problem on my hand. I am running parallel Stata instances and i am experiencing some memory issues. Essentially, Stata keeps taking more and more memory until the system runs out ( 64gb!). Strangely enough, if i check with the individual instances, they dont report using much memory at all as you can see in the attached image.
Whatever memory that is, even if i clear everything, Stata does not release the memory. I have messed around with the niceness option and the memory options. They only effect the memory usage that Stata reports and not the amount windows claims Stata uses.
Any ides?
