Hi,
I am using two rounds of the IHDS (Indian Human Development Survey) Individual and Household data collected in 2004-05 and 2011-12 to carry out heterogeneity intergenerational mobility study. I have combined the two rounds of individual and household data to create a panel data but somehow I cannot merge these two using m:1 IDHH (Household ID Code).
However, IDHH is successfully merging the household and individual data for the same year.
Does data needs to be recoded?
