I am trying to look at labor division by gender in a household. my data set has collected the member id and then their gender as seen below. I want to match the member id (S1C_memid_01 S1C_memid_02 S1C_memid_03) with values in S3_brk_soil S3_set_irri and then look at the sex ( S1C_sex_01 S1C_sex_02 S1C_sex_03 dummy male=1) of the member so I can show the division on labor by gender. But I am not sure how I would go about it.

I think I have to use the egen command but I am not sure how exactly to match these all together. Thank you for your help in advance.
