Hello All,
My panel data set has 5 years of data. The data set includes no. of directors (with titles, first name, gender, etc) for every firm each year. I was wondering how to generate a variable from non-numeric data that defines for example a variable total no of directors with titles or without titles for every firm each year.
p.s. Each firm has 5-10 directors every year. I am bit lost and don't know how to collapse the data in one variable for every category.
Thanks.
Ali
