I have a question regarding interaction in linear regression:
For example, I have run a regression between BMI and education.
Then I want to examine the interaction between education and sex in predicting BMI
So I put an interaction term i.sex##c.education in the model
My question is whether this term gives us additive interaction or multiplicative interaction
If it gives multiplicative interaction, then how can we calculate additive interaction?
Thank you in advance
