Hi there, I'm conducting a factor analysis (EFA, factor command, pf default) and have 2 questions:
1. I'm confused by the LR test that is displayed just below the table output. What exactly is the independent model and what is the saturated model? What's the null hypothesis? I didn't find an explanation in the STATA manual and google couldn't help either.
2. How do I conduct a chi-square test of model fit when changing the number of factors from model to model? I.e.: Number of factors = n vs. number of factors = n+1?
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions!
