Hello,
I hope this is the right place to ask.
I am currently using the exact wilcoxon signed rank test as described in this paper: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf...867X1301300208 which was published in the Stata journal. I am trying to describe in my own words what I am doing with the Stata command signedrankex. However on page two it states that if the number of ranks is below 25 the significance is computed from the exact distribution (all my samples have less than 24 observations and I do not understand what this means). I have understood how the S value is created but I do not know how the corresponding p-value is obtained (described in manually or in formulas). I would really appreciate if someone can give me a hint. Thanks a lot.
