Hi all. Good Morning.
This is my first post here, but I have been consulting you, thank you for your generosity in providing answers.
I have a question for a problem set that is asking me to generate a net migration rate by year/gender/state in a sample of migration from Mexico to the USA. The dataset includes two years 1990 and 2000 and a bunch of states. I am pretty sure that I can generate this variable using bysort but honestly I am stuck here. What are good ideas to build only one variable of net migration rate by year/gender/state on Stata?
Thank you so much.
