Hello everyone,
I am trying to append two datasets of approximately 8GB and 6GB resp. Each time I run the append command I get this error
"op. sys refuses to provide memory" error r(909)
I am using Stata 16.0 MP on a 64-bit Windows 10 system with 4GB RAM and 150GB available space. I have allocated enough memory to STATA to contain this amount of data.

Should I increase my RAM or free more storage on my system?
Please suggest what should I do to append the two datasets.
