Destringed variables representing subsectors (Variable representing whole sector is D). Cannot plot even I converted to numeric

Dear all,

I destringed (converted from string to numeric) a set of variables that described subsectors (within one sector). The whole sector is represented by the variable "D". Nevertheless, when I try to plot the data for "D", I get an error indicating that the variable is still string. Anyway to solve this minor issue?
