Hi,
I am currently working with a pseudo-panel and to counter autocorrelation i am using a year-dummy. However including the yeardummy increases the within R-squared from 0.1138 to 0.2670 despite none of the other independent variables having a significant effet on the dependent variable. Does anyone know why the within R-squared rises this much? Is there a logical explanation for this?
Thank you in advance!
